“A friend who had previously attended the Game Design course recommended it to me. I was burnt out from regular schooling and wanted to spend time on something I truly cared about. The Game Design course was very open and interest-driven; being able to steer projects in my own direction fostered a tremendous drive to work—something I hadn’t experienced before. I also found a life path that had been nothing more than a hypothetical idea before I started. On top of that—and perhaps most importantly—I gained an incredibly good friend and outstanding colleague whom I never would have met otherwise. Before folk high school, I dreamed of working creatively with everything from art and comics to music, but I decided to pursue games after the program because it allowed me to work with all of those things at once!”
