Japan

During the spring semester, you will be offered the opportunity to join an adventure trip to Japan.

Here, we will visit Tokyo and Kyoto. The goal of this trip is to experience the culture and nature of a society that is quite different from our own, yet central to Western culture.

We will visit Tokyo’s gaming, manga, and cosplay districts, as well as the Studio Ghibli Museum. We will explore neighborhoods featuring exciting cafés and shops, the traditional fish market, and, of course, parks filled with cherry blossom trees. The itinerary also includes a wide range of optional activities tailored to individual interests—such as art, music, or sightseeing.

We also spend the night in beautiful Kyoto. Here, you can experience traditional areas featuring elegant parks and temples.

Taking part in the trip to Japan is a fantastic experience. Due to the cost and the fact that we have diverse interests, the trip is not mandatory. An alternative program will be available at the school for those who choose to stay behind. You can sign up for the trip after arriving at the school.

The trip to Japan was definitely the highlight; it’s something I’ll remember for the rest of my life and miss the most. Game Art Student 24–25
