We live in close proximity to one another, and we feel that social events at the start of the school year are especially important so that we can get to know each other well.
Rosendal and Bondhusvatnet
One such event is the season-opening trip to Rosendal and Bondhusvatnet. In Rosendal, we visit the Baroniet manor and its magnificent rose garden. Afterward, we head to Bondhusvatnet, where we enjoy being beneath the glacier arm and breathing in the fresh air from the glacier.
Cabin trip with the student groups
The different course groups go on cabin trips in the area surrounding the school. For example, we have visited Stovegolvet on Stord and Svartatjødna at Valen. The trips focus on socializing and getting to know one another, though enthusiastic teachers manage to sneak in a bit of academic content as well.
