Electives

In the afternoons and evenings, you have the opportunity to participate in elective subjects. There is a wide range of options, and it is up to you whether you want to take many or just one. We recommend choosing no more than five so that you also have time to work on your main subject. Electives run for approximately eight sessions per semester, and you choose new ones after Christmas.

It is very popular for students to organize their own elective subjects, so the offerings will vary from year to year.

Many students possess unique knowledge and a wide range of interests. Here, you are given the opportunity to direct your own elective—you are the one in charge. The only real limit is the students’ own creativity. Examples of electives include art trading, sound design, Norwegian folk dance, figure drawing, web design, Magic: The Gathering, sewing and upcycling, and more.
